Remodelling of 2 Victorian houses to join them together. Design by Duncan Woodburn.
This project involved the conversion of the ground floor of the first house to create accommodation for a disabled person and a part conversion of the adjoining property.
Works undertaken: creation of the single-story extension to the rear to form a dining area, that also allows easy access from one house to another. Installation of Zinc roof with build in gutters and 2 skylights to the extension; sliding pocket door in the dining room, formation of extra bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor for disabled person; resin floor in the kitchen; oak flooring in the living room; underfloor heating; bespoke joinery in the living room and rear bedroom; decoration throughout. Landscaping works: artificial grass and recessed trampoline, granite paving area.
